Our Story
Lotus North & Co. is the work of one person — Quayvon Gonzalez-Hilbert — a real estate professional raised in Newport News, Virginia and serving clients across the Richmond metro.
This is not a brokerage. It is a practice. A small, intentional one — built on family, values, and the belief that real people deserve real representation. The driving conviction is simple: human nature is to grow and evolve into greatness, and the right property decision can move a person, a family, or a business closer to that.
The goal is to build strategic partnerships built on intention, not a price tag — solutions that make sense for both parties, and a level of information and clarity that leaves you the most informed buyer, seller or lease holder in the market.

Beyond the Closing Table
A life in service of people.
Real estate is what I do for a living. It is not the whole of who I am. Before any conversation about property, I am a son of Newport News, a partner, a friend, and a believer that the people around us are the real return on every decision we make.
Outside of this practice, I am also the incorporator of the Capitol City Music Foundation — a Richmond-based nonprofit created to empower musical artists and protect creative journeys that too often get overlooked. It exists for the same reason this practice exists: people deserve to be seen, supported, and given real tools to grow into the version of themselves they are reaching for.
I do not separate those two worlds. The discipline of building a nonprofit, the patience of community work, and the rigor of years inside multifamily and community management all show up at your kitchen table when we are talking through a home, a lease, or an investment.
The Long Way Here
Earned, not assumed.
I did not arrive at real estate through a sales pipeline. I arrived through years of actually managing the buildings, communities and people most agents only ever sell.
Newport News
Born and raised on the Peninsula. The values of family, neighborhood, and showing up for the people next to you were taught long before any license was earned.
Richmond
Now rooted in the capital region — working across Richmond and Central Virginia communities, with a working knowledge of the Hampton Roads market I came from.
